Undergraduate Student Research Positions
Please send a detailed resume (not the usual 1 pg one but an extended version) to Dr. Cecil (j.cecil@okstate.edu) addressing the following points:
1. Educational background: include where you completed high school, your current and completed courses at OSU (undergrad) or any other univ (if transferred), GPA, expected date of graduation, etc.
Highlight any prior courses in computer graphics, virtual reality and related areas (or any courses you have taken with Dr. Mayfield in the CS department)
2. Any prior research project experience (can be any project)
3. Any work experience on campus or elsewhere (this can be elaborate if it’s a technical or software related job – if its at a dining place or other non-technical work, pl be brief)
4. Details of programming skills:
List each language and rate your skill levels from 1 to 10 (1 is beginner and 10 is expert).
Indicate if you know C#.
5. Experience with programming platforms (pc, mac, linux etc)
6. Any class projects involving programming, software, robotics, AI etc: describe each project in 2 to 3 lines or more
Any prior background in computer graphics is always welcome but not necessary.
7. Any paper publications
8. As our projects are federally funded, pl include your race and citizenship/permanent resident or if international student
9. Indicate any physical disability
10. Do you have a passport for international travel
11. Indicate your home address clearly indicating if you live insider Oklahoma or outside
12. Indicate any prior internship experiences in industry (if its applicable).
13. Names/contact info of at least 2 references on the OSU campus in Stillwater or Tulsa (can be professors or staff) – pl do not include non OSU references
