CAS Equity Advocates Council

Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the College of Arts and Sciences
The Equity Advocates Council (EAC) is a voluntary, facility and staff-led initiative founded in 2017 to support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the College of Arts and Sciences. Composed of representatives selected by their departments within the College, Equity Advocate Fellows (EAs) facilitate educational workshops, compile and develop resources, and review and recommend policies and procedures. EAs act as repositories of campus and community resources and seek to listen to and learn from underrepresented groups and amplify marginalized voices.
