Virtual Reality Based Training Capabilities & Resources

Our Center for Cyber Physical Systems is a proven international leader in the creation of Virtual Reality (VR) based simulation and training environments. Our current and past projects involve creating simulators to train manufacturing engineers, surgeons, space systems engineers as well as building advanced simulators for NASA and medical hospitals. We are the technology leaders in Virtual Reality in the state of Oklahoma. Our past customers are both government and private enterprises ranging from diverse fields including manufacturing, space systems and health care.

To help you with your training needs, we can build low cost simulators using new VR technologies (such as the Vive, HoloLens and Occulus Rift; see Fig 2); training simulators can be run on laptops with or without 3D headsets depending on the scope of your needs. We also have expertise in creating haptic based training environments (fig 1) where trainees can ‘touch’, ‘feel’ and interact with target environments in an immersive manner. Our group is also very proficient in running these simulation environments through cloud based servers. We have a dedicated group of students and engineers who can develop customized solutions by working with you and ensuring we meet your needs.
