Hispanic Pioneers in Psychology
As part of a continuing effort to expand the information available through the online
OSU Psychology Museum, we are proud to present Hispanic Pioneers in Psychology. On
this site, you will find brief biographies on many early Hispanic psychologists, as
well as links to more information available on the web.
The purpose of this page is not to provide a comprehensive overview of those men and
women of Hispanic descent who contributed to psychology. Instead, this page should
serve as an overview to the area, serving as a starting point for those who wish to
explore this topic further.
Several people have contributed to the development of this site. Dr. Charles Abramson
led the development while the information on the psychologists profiled within came
from the research of Ms. Maria Yepez.
