Registration
The Reading Readiness Camp is designed to foster a love for reading among young school-going children through hands-on, fun learning activities. Campers will be engaged in small group instruction that focuses on developing their confidence for reading in a supportive environment. Campers will receive a t-shirt and light snacks as part of the registration fee. Note: T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants registering after May 12th.
Sessions
In 2024, we will offer three sessions. Drop off will start at 8:45 to 9:00 a.m. and pick up will be from 11:45 a.m. to noon. The three sessions will each be eight days (excluding weekends) and take place on the following dates:
Session 1
Four and five year olds
Week 1: June 17-21 with no class offered on June 19
Week 2: June 24-27
Session 2 — Session Full
Six and seven year olds
Week 1: July 1-3 with no class offered on July 4 and 5
Week 2: July 8-12.

*Thirty seats will be available in each of the three sessions. A wait list will be started in the event that the sessions fill.
Cost
- Early bird registration will take place until April 25 for $110.
- After April 25th, the cost will increase to $130.
- T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants registering after May 12th.
- If a session is full, a wait list will be available on a first come, first served basis. Sessions must have a minimum of 10 participants or the session will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy
- 100% refund available if cancellation notice is received by May 27 (5 p.m.)
- A 50% refund will be issued if cancellation notice is received before June 10 (5 p.m.).
- No refunds will be provided once sessions start.
No Show Policy
If a student does not show for the first day of camp without notice, the guardian will be contacted and given until 2 p.m. the next day to respond. If the second day provides another no show and no response, the seat will become forfeit and will be provided to a wait-lister without refund to the original registration.
