We believe that everyone deserves to communicate.
We offer you a comprehensive pre-professional education to pursue a career in speech-language pathology and/or audiology. Our curriculum prepares you to apply for graduate school as well as take on positions such as a speech-language pathology assistant and/or an audiology assistant. Our top goal in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is to provide the necessary training and education for our graduate students to be able to provide evidence-based clinical services no matter where they go from here.

Are you interested in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology?

Undergraduate Studies

Our Bachelor of Science degree provides pre-professional background for students interested in a career in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology. This is a preparatory degree to allow for transition into a master’s degree.

Graduate Studies

Our graduate program offers a Master of Science degree that is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Our students receive foundational academic training as well as hands-on clinical training.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

The Communication Sciences and Disorders Post-Baccalaureate Certificate is designed for students who are interested in applying to a graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. This program is designed for those who have a bachelor's degree in another field or are currently studying under a different program. 

ClinicsWe offer comprehensive evaluations and treatment for those with communication disorders as well as hearing loss.
