Lisa Ashley, M.Ed., CCC-SLP has been a practicing speech language pathologist for
23 years. Ms. Ashley joined the Communication Sciences and Disorders faculty in January
2018 as a clinical supervisor and lecturer. Prior to working at Oklahoma State University,
Ms. Ashley worked for The Guthrie Rite Care Language Clinic for 13 years. During
her time with the Rite Care Clinic, Ms. Ashley began diagnosing and treating children
with reading and spelling disorders. Ms. Ashley is well-versed in diagnosing and
treating dyslexia. Ms. Ashley uses the Barton Reading and Spelling Program and Language
Basics Elementary. Ms. Ashley is experienced with both children and adults with a
variety of communication disorders.
