A robust and comprehensive program...
The Department of Theatre annually produces theatrical productions in two venues: The Vivia Locke Theatre and Jerry Davis Studio Theatre. Acting, as well as design and technology opportunities, are available to all students starting with their freshman year. The Theatre faculty are working professionals, devoted to mentoring and educating their students, as well as maintaining their scholarly and/or creative work off campus. Under the direction of the professional faculty, students are encouraged to participate in professional internships and conferences, and to pursue summer employment opportunities in theatre as soon as possible.
