Research Team
Huizi Wang—Huizi’s dissertation methods research is aimed at comparing high dimensional classification methods for count data. Methods are motivated by research with OSU’s Institute of Biosecurity and Microbial Forensics (director: Kitty Cardwell), where one aim is to develop methods for plant pathogen detection using high throughput sequencing data.
Emmanuel Asare—Emmanuel’s research is aimed at finite mixture modeling with high dimensional multiple testing for omics data. It is motivated in part by collaborations with Michael Anderson (Plant and Soil Science) and Ranjith Ramanathan (Animal and Food Science)
