Outstanding Senior Award
The Outstanding Senior Award was established to recognize a senior who has demonstrated outstanding work in both the classroom and the community while engaging in sociological insights and practices. This award is presented at the annual College of Arts & Sciences Banquet.
One undergraduate student is awarded each year and the student must:
- Be nominated by a Sociology Department faculty member
- Major in one of the majors under the Department of Sociology
- Have senior standing
- Demonstrate outstanding work in the discipline of Sociology
- Have a 3.5 gpa or higher
