Victor Brown Monnett Microfossil Archive (VBM)
The Victor Brown Monnett Microfossil Archive is proud to house an extensive collection of drill core residues and microfossil slides of picked foraminifera, diatoms, and radiolaria used in biostratigraphy across the United States of America. Identification and teaching collections from Dr. V.B. Monnett are also housed in this collection and photographs from these collections can be found below. At present, the Burkett research lab is working to catalog and digitize the archive. Please check back to see how we progress and let us know if you would be interested in a particular set of samples. We would be happy to photograph these samples or host you on a visit.
