Bio
Nathan Mauslein is a PhD student specializing in Early Modern Germany. He recieved both his B.A. and M.A. in History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. His M.A. thesis "The Bavarian Birthright: Dynasticism, Faith, and the Creation of the Bavarian State in a Federated Empire" details the confessional and political developments that led to the creation of a proto Bavarian state between 1500-1648. His work equally stresses territorial and imperial politics and the role of the Reformation and subsequent Counter-Reformation.
