Teagan Dreyer

Bio

Teagan Dreyer is a PhD student studying Native American boarding schools with a focus on post World War II through today. She is working on expanding her Masters these in which she studied the history and student experience of boarding schools in Oklahoma, several still educating Native youth but without the drive of assimilation education. Dreyer is also researching educational interventions for Native youth driven by tribes and Native communities. This research is driven by survivors of these schools and the students that attend them today. Teagan is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
