How to Install Sharp Drivers (MacOS) 

1. Download the Driver:

   • Visit Sharp's official driver page.

   • Download the appropriate Mac driver for your Sharp printer model.

2. Open Printer Settings:

   • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.

3. Add a New Printer:

   • Click “Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax…”.

4. Configure the Printer via IP:

   • Select the IP tab at the top.
   • In the Address field, enter your printer’s hostname.
   • For Protocol, choose Line Printer Daemon – LPD from the dropdown.
   • Leave the Queue field blank.
   • The system will auto-detect the driver under Use (e.g., SHARP MX-6071 PPD).

   • Click Add to complete the setup.
