The CDIS Department is committed to providing an environment of study and works free from gender discrimination and sexual harassment as prohibited by Title VII and Title IX. We also ensure accessibility of appropriate grievances procedures for addressing all complaints regarding gender discrimination and sexual harassment, including sexual assault. The Office of Equal Opportunity is located at 419-A General Academic Building (GAB). In line with Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Executive Order 11246 as amended, and Title IX of the Education Amendment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and other federal and state laws and regulations, students and faculty, staff and persons served in the program's clinic are treated in a nondiscriminatory manner, that is, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, participation restriction, sexual orientation, or status as a parent. Any person (student, faculty, staff, or client) who believes that discriminatory practices have been engaged may discuss these concerns and file informal or formal complaints of possible Title IX violations. Students may report incidents to Student Support and Conduct, 328 Student Union, https://ssc.okstate.edu/
