Step 1:

Apply to Oklahoma State University

Step 2:

Register for ROTC Courses via the myOKSTATE Self Service portal. 

Fall Semester: Register for AERO 1111

Spring Semester: Register for AERO 1211

 

Step 3:

Please visit the WINGS website and click on "Apply for AFROTC" to create an account in WINGS. After you have successfully created an account in WINGS, complete the "My AFROTC Application" within your WINGS profile. For extra assistance, we have a guide located HERE

 

NOTE: Do not upload any documents during this process. Bring all physical documents with you to Orientation.

Attend one New Student Orientation! Dates for Fall 2025 are below:

Parking: If you do not have an OSU parking pass, hourly parking is available in the Student Union Parking Garage. Alternatively, you may visit the OSU parking office and purchase a day permit. Their website is here: Parking Services | Oklahoma State University

Dress Code: Black polo shirt (OSU logo or small brand logo), blue jeans, tennis shoes. Polo shirt must be tucked in.

Required:

  • Laptop (Bring your charger). Make sure you can log into your Wings account.
  • Birth Certificate / Naturalization Certificate / U.S passport (must be original document)
  • Social Security Card (Signed) (must be original document)
  • Visit any physician to obtain a standard sports physical. Bring this form with you for your physician to complete: Form 28 - AFROTC Sports Physical. NOTE: If you are unable to download the Form 28, please bring proof of a sports physical from your doctor.
  • Selective Service Registration (males only)
  • Prior military service documentation (DD214, Guard/Reserve DD4 contract, etc.) (as applicable)
  • CAP or JROTC certificates (as applicable)
  • DD Form 785, Record of Disenrollment from Officer candidate-Type Training (as applicable)
  • Civil Involvements: Any past traffic tickets, citations, arrests or other law enforcement actions must be reported. You will need to bring documentation of citations, arrests, etc. along with a receipt showing the fine is paid-in-full (as applicable). Start on this immediately. You may need to request some of these records through the mail if you do not have a copy.

 

Other Notes:

You will need to have the following clothing items with you for different uniform configurations when you start the semester:

  • Black Polo Shirt (OSU logo, no logo or small brand logo)
  • Blue Jeans
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Khaki Pants
  • Dress Shoes
  • Business suit or long-sleeved shirt/tie, slacks (men)
  • Business suit or collared blouse and slacks (women)
