Perhaps you have found yourself wondering…
- What is a good life?
- Are we ever really free?
- Is there a god?
- What is right and wrong?
- What is truth?
- What is the best political system?
- Does fate exist?
- What is human consciousness?
These are just a handful of the deep questions that we ask in Philosophy. In philosophy classes, you will read the works of some of the greatest minds who have ever lived, and try to work out your own views about these vital issues. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your skills of reasoning and argumentation, deepen your perspective on the world, and prepare yourself for a career in a variety of fields.
