Program Highlights
Actuarial and Financial Mathematics - prepares you for an actuarial career with courses from mathematics, economics, finance, and statistics. Includes courses from finance and economics to prepare you for an actuarial career.
Applied Mathematics - prepares you for the wide variety of jobs available in government, business, and industry.
This track emphasizes breadth across science and engineering courses related to mathematics.
Secondary Teaching Certification - prepares you for teaching math in high school as part of the exciting and innovative OSUTeach program.

Research and Opportunities
- Work as a tutor in the Mathematics Learning Success Center (MLSC) or as a Learning Assistant for one of our entry-level math courses.
- Perform research under the direction of faculty members.
- Engage with your peers through Math Club, the Putnam Exam Team, the Actuarial Student Organization, the Association for Women in Mathematics.
