These are only a few of the probing questions that we ask in History. In history classes, you will read primary sources produced by a diverse array of individuals and secondary works created by historians interpreting the past. Along the way, you will sharpen your analytical skills and communication abilities, and develop a richer understanding of our world, past and present that can lead to fascinating careers in a variety of fields.

Student Internships

Working with our Career Service advisors, you have numerous opportunities for internships in a non-profit organization, a government office, or a private/public for profit business. The placement may be paid or unpaid, and/or count for academic credit. Students can earn up to six hours of upper-division History credit for internships.
