Study History at OSU
Shape the Future
History is more than past facts—it's community, debate, and identity, guiding us to the present. Students can take courses on Heroes of the Ancient World, the Mongol Empire, Leonardo da Vinci, the 1918 Flu Pandemic and COVID-19, the Dust Bowl, the Civil Rights Movement, and the 21st-century African diaspora. Guided by 29 full-time faculty experts, students can pursue B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in History, complete our affiliate programs in Public History and Museum & Curatorial Studies, and study or research abroad. At OSU history, we bring the past to life.
