Ohenebeng Boapeah

Bio
Ohenebeng Boapeah is an Ashanti native born in Kumasi but raised in the Northern region of Ghana. Growing up in the Northern region of Ghana, he experienced first-hand Ghana’s developmental challenges which sparked his interest to understand the context of development and encourage sustainable development in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
After his bachelor’s degree in Sociology, he took a one year M.A. Development studies course and conducted research on renewable energy transitions. This is where he developed his interest in environmental sociology.
Ohenebeng is currently a Teaching Assistant and a Master’s student at the Oklahoma State University.
