From Bangladesh to the halls of Oklahoma State University, Jafnun brings a global perspective and a passion for understanding the intricacies of human behavior. Graduating summa cum laude from Bangladesh University of Professionals in 2022, she dived headfirst into the world of education, empowering others through language. As an IELTS instructor at the Mentors' - Admission and Standardized Test Preparation Center, Jafnun guided students through the challenging terrain of English acquisition, fostering a supportive space for those navigating this new linguistic frontier.
Today, Jafnun wears a different hat – that of a Graduate Teaching Assistant while pursuing her Master’s at the Department of Sociology. But her curiosity remains boundless, as she is interested in exploring the fascinating intersections of Criminal Sociology, Gender, and Health. She wishes to pursue her Ph.D. in the same fields to deepen her understanding of the nuances of criminal behavior and the systems that shape it.
