Bio
Jimmy is a Ph.D. student and graduate teaching assistant in the Sociology Department at Oklahoma State University. After receiving his BSAS and MA in sociology from Texas State University, Jimmy served five years in the United States Marine Corps, taught Agriculture, Food, and Nature Resources CTE courses in Hawaii, and worked as a STEM research assistant at Colorado State University. His research interests include environmental justice, food inequalities, social movements.
