Our Services
The Psychological Services Center (PSC) provides services to children, adolescents, and adults. Services are available to residents of Stillwater and the surrounding community, as well as to OSU students, faculty, and staff. The PSC offers a variety of psychological services, including but not limited to:
- Adult and child individual therapy for adjustment problems, depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Couples and family therapy
- Assessments for learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Emotional and behavioral problems and other developmental disabilities; the PSC Assessment Clinic does not conduct forensic evaluations, custody evaluations and/or court-ordered evaluations.
- Group therapy (e.g., meditation and stress reduction, emotion regulation and healthy relationships)
Mindfulness
Each semester, the PSC offers a six-week meditation group for individuals who would like assistance handling stress, worry, sadness and/or distress related to chronic pain. Learn mindfulness and yoga practice for stress reduction and enhanced well-being.
We are not currently recruiting for the mindfulness group.

Managing Emotions
Each semester, the PSC offers an eight-week group for individuals with difficulties regulating their emotions or those emotions have caused problems in the past. This group will teach individuals about the purpose of emotions, how to manage their emotions, and how to decrease suffering due to negative emotions.
We are not currently recruiting for the managing emotions group now.
