Taylor Kitchen

Growing up in Louisiana, I always found myself exploring the forest and being infatuated with wildlife as a child. I graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science in natural resources ecology and management and a minor in forestry. In the future, I plan to work in curatorial ornithology. For fun I like to go birding or herping and try to find species I have never seen before. I enjoy learning new things about how the natural world works around me and am interested in learning how humans have changed that. My research interests include the development and changes of hybrid zones, phylogenetics and studying how species change in response to anthropogenic pressures.
