Youth & Community Orchestra
The OSU Youth & Community Orchestra (OSU Y&CO) is a full symphony consisting of mostly high school students in strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion sections. Repertoire includes many standard masterworks expertly arranged for educational ensembles, as well as original compositions and contemporary works. The OSU Y&CO is conducted by Dr. Thomas Taylor Dickey.
Program Information
The OSU Youth & Community Orchestra was founded to give non-professional musicians an outlet for ensemble performance. The orchestra rehearses weekly and presents two free concerts per year.
The OSU Y&CO is conducted by graduate students in the orchestral conducting program under the guidance of OSU’s Director of Orchestral Studies, Dr. Thomas Dickey.
Rehearsals are on Monday evenings at the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
Tuition is $100 for a semester.

Fall & Spring Concerts will be held in the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts Recital Hall and are free & open to the public!
