Drop-in Tutoring
Cost: Free
Where: The MLSC is on the 5th floor of the Edmon Low Library.
When: Come any time during our Spring 2023 hours of operation to study mathematics and receive help from our undergraduate peer tutors. No appointment necessary!

What should I bring? Remember to bring your math course materials and be ready to engage with the tutors.
Guided Study Groups
Starting in Spring 2023, the MLSC will offer small study groups (3-5 students) that are guided by a tutor. These groups will meet for one hour per week every week of the semester.
Cost: Free
Sign up for a study group within the first few weeks of the semester, or look for an open group to join mid-semester.
Where: Study groups will take place in the MLSC facility in the West Tutoring room or in one of the smaller tutoring rooms.

Supplemental Instruction
Starting Spring 2023, the MLSC is partnering with the LASSO center to offer Supplemental Instruction for students in Calculus I.
Cost: Free
Where: SI sessions for Calculus I will take place in the West Tutoring Room of the MLSC.

Online Tutoring
Cost: Free
Tutor: William D will be our online tutor this semester.
How do I sign up? Fill out this form 24 hours in advance to schedule a 30-minute appointment with William.

High School Tutoring
Cost: The MLSC offers affordable drop-in tutoring for local High School Students. The cost is $35 per semester, but students can come the first time for free to try it out.
Where: The MLSC is located on the 5th floor of the Edmon Low Library. The greeter will check you in and show you where to go.
Times:

Dates: Beginning Tuesday January 17, 2023. Ending on Thursday May 11th, 2023.
How do I sign up? Come to the MLSC any time during our hours of operation to sign up. We are open Monday-Thursday 9:00am-9:00pm, Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, or Sunday 1:00pm-9:00pm. Fill out the MLSC High School Tutoring Enrollment Form, and please pay with a check made out to "OSU Mathematics Department."
What should I bring? Students will need to have their own textbooks or problems to work on, and the tutors will be available to assist students when they have questions.
Private Tutoring
Cost: Variable, depending on the rate set by the private tutor.
How do I sign up? We provide a list of tutors (both undergraduate and graduate students) who are able to help in certain classes. You can contact them for scheduling and for their hourly rates, and they may be able to do individual or group sessions depending on their availability.
When: This list is usually compiled during the first week of the semester, and the MLSC is only involved in distributing the list of private tutors.
