Oklahoma State has the largest contingent of Sports Media faculty of any university in the world. Moreover – unlike the majority of universities offering related programs – all of our Sports Media faculty are either full-time employees in the School of Media and Strategic Communications or work fulltime elsewhere at Oklahoma State. Therefore, each professor has a vested interest in Oklahoma State having the top sports media program in the world, with a primary focus on educating students and churning out young professionals for the industry.

Further, all OSU Sports Media faculty have practical experience in professional sport communication and maintain contacts throughout the sports media industry. Most of our faculty members focus their research efforts on sports media, providing more knowledge on the field where they worked.
