Thad Leffingwell
Interim Associate Dean for Faculty Support and Assistant Dean for Facilities
Thad Leffingwell is a Professor of Psychology and serves as the Interim Associate Dean for Faculty Support and Assistant Dean for Facilities. Dr. Leffingwell has been at OSU since 2000 and previously served for nine years as Head of the Department of Psychology. During his time as Head, the Department more than doubled in size, became the largest major at OSU, and established new degree programs online and at OSU-Tulsa.
Dr. Leffingwell is a clinical health psychologist who studies high-risk health behaviors including tobacco and alcohol misuse. He enjoys teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level and has won both the Regents Distinguished Teaching Award and the Regents Distinguished Research Award.
