Rebecca Parker Brienen is Associate Dean for Personnel and Faculty Development, Vennerberg Chair of Art and Professor of Art History at Oklahoma State University. Since 2017, she has also been Director of the Prairie Arts Center, an OSU/City of Stillwater partnership supporting community arts. Brienen came to OSU from the University of Miami in 2013. She received her B.A. in Art History from Wellesley College in 1989. She holds an M.A. in Theology from Harvard University and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Art History from Northwestern University.
