Thad Leffingwell
Interim Associate Dean for Faculty Support and Assistant Dean for Facilities
Thad Leffingwell joined the Dean’s office in 2023 to serve as the College’s first Associate Dean of Facilities. He is a professor of psychology, where he previously served as Department Head for nearly ten years and has been at OSU since 2000. Dr. Leffingwell earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Washington and a M.S. degree in Exercise Science from the University of Arizona.
In his role as Associate Dean, Dr. Leffingwell helps steward approximately one million square feet of facilities spaces entrusted to the use of CAS departments and programs. He partners with various groups on campus to ensure timely and quality maintenance and renovations, to assist with space use and allocation, and to plan for future facilities needs aligned with strategic goals. When not on campus, Dr. Leffingwell can likely be found on a golf course or cheering on one of OSU’s sports teams.
