Horn Studio Audition Repertoire

All students (major/minor)

Audition material is flexible, but it should demonstrate your very best in both technical and lyrical playing. You may choose from the following:

All-State Audition Material
Standard Solo Horn Repertoire
Standard Orchestral Excerpts
Technical and Lyrical Etudes

Knowledge and fluency in all major scales and arpeggios is recommended but not required. You may be asked to sight-read a short melodic passage or etude during your auditions.
