"Bali Shimmer" Guitar Pedal by Poke U Pedals

Music industry faculty and students (Dr. Mark Perry, Max Sise, and Draven Thomas) are collaborating with the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology to design and build a guitar pedal. “Bali Shimmer” will be a pedal that can produce a reverb shimmer and acoustic beat shimmer. Beta testing begins soon.

Cajón Project

The Music Industry Association and NAfME collaborated on the Cajón Project to win the prestigious NAfME Collegiate Chapter of Excellence Award for Service (2019). In the Cajón Project, both organizations joined forces to provide hand-built cajón drums to all six Stillwater elementary schools, allowing children to engage in hands-on drumming experiences.
