The Oklahoma State University Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music provides
a professional environment that stimulates the highest standards of excellence in
music education, research, performance, creativity, and service.
Undergraduate Degrees
Our undergraduate degrees prepare you for a musical career of your choice. We also
offer four music minors in Applied music, Composition & Theory, General Music, and
Jazz. You will receive high-quality instruction from experienced faculty who are committed
to helping you follow your passion.
Graduate Degrees
We offer two graduate degrees at the Greenwood School of Music in Applied Music and
Conducting. The Applied Music option allows students to develop a refined knowledge
of literature, teaching practices, and technical approaches to their applied area.
The Conducting option stresses studies in conducting skills, repertoire, and rehearsal
techniques focused on a particular specialty area - choral, orchestral, or wind band.

Join our Summer Music Institute
The OSU Summer Music Institute is a six-day music camp designed as instrumental intensives,
where students will have the opportunity to have more individualized time with Greenwood
School of Music faculty and more specified classes designed for their applied area.
