Request an Audition

Once you have applied to OSU, it's time to request an audition!

All incoming students will need to complete the Greenwood School of Music Audition Request Form.

GRADUATE AUDITION REQUEST

Prepare for your Audition

We encourage you to begin your audition preparation early by carefully reviewing the audition requirements for your specific program area. Select repertoire from our list that highlights your strengths as a musician and demonstrates your artistry. Remember, it is far more effective to give a polished and expressive performance of a moderately challenging piece than to attempt a work that feels unprepared or overly difficult.

If you choose to submit a video audition, professional studio recording is not required. What matters most is clear, high-quality sound. Use a reliable microphone, test your recording in advance, and seek feedback from trusted colleagues or mentors before submitting your final video.
