GEO-REx Camp Information

Activities

Daily activities will center on experiencing a wide range of geoscience topics, including lab and field activities. Students will take a field trip to local geologic features, participate in hands-on workshops covering geology, geophysics, and environmental geoscience fields, and meet with geoscience professionals. Students will also work with faculty mentors on a research project and present their results.

Camp Activities

Camp begins at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and will conclude at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 10. Family are welcome to join us for the research presentations at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 10. View detailed camp itinerary.
