Center for the Applications of Remote Sensing (CARS)
Do you need aerial imagery from drones? Do you need assistance finding and analyzing satellite data? Do you need field equipment such as GPS units? If so, CARS staff can help. We support diverse research projects using remote sensing, GIS and UAS's.
The Center for Application of Remote Sensing (CARS) at Oklahoma State University was
developed in 1979 as a research and extension center under the administration of the
College of Arts and Sciences.
CARS' computer system and support facilities are designed to analyze satellite and
aircraft digital and analog data, and to incorporate various types of ancillary information
into a geographic information system in an effort to delineate critical resources,
identify environment issues, and develop efficiency resource management strategies.
