Certificate in TESOL
The undergraduate certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a 15-credit-hour program which provides students with the basic pedagogical background needed to teach English to non-native speakers. The certificate can lead to opportunities such as:

Teaching English as a foreign language in overseas schools, colleges, or universities;

Teaching English as a second language to international students studying in the U.S.;

Teaching English to bilingual/bicultural English Language Learner (ELL) and Limited English Proficient (LEP) students in public school systems and adult education programs.
