Graphic Design Capstone Exhibition

March 28-April 12, 2024

Opening Reception: Saturday, March 30, 5 p.m.

The Gardiner Gallery of Art was pleased to present the Spring 2024 Graphic Design Capstone Exhibition. This year’s exhibition, titled “Voxel,” symbolized the individuality and collaboration of the students.

The theme of “Voxel” was developed by students Elly Campbell, Jamie Kimball, Merrick Bayouth, Bryant Chitsey, Matt Lacey, Margaret Price and Lydia Bart. The group’s concept was chosen from among other student-developed themes for this year’s exhibition. All graphic design capstone students were involved in every aspect of the exhibition process, while graphic design professors Pouya Jahanshasi and Justen Renyer facilitated.

From branding and typography to multimedia and web design, the exhibition featured a diverse range of projects that reflected the students' skills and artistic vision. The exhibition not only provided students with an opportunity to showcase their work but also offered valuable hands-on experience in exhibition design, promotion and collaboration.
