Sam Kauffman
Sam has been with a researcher with the program from June of 2020 to May of 2021. He has taken part in projects including the NSF sponsored COVID-19 Nurse simulator project, focused on investigating adoption of Human Centric Computing (HCC) attributes to enable more user-friendly and effective interactions involving virtual reality mediums. He presented the results of this project at the virtual Sigma Xi 2020 Student Research Conference poster competition. Sam was also nominated to present his research at the EPSCOR 2021 Research Day at the Capitol, where it will be shown to the public and Oklahoma legislators. He graduated in May of 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
