Sadia Kamal is a third-year PhD student, currently conducting research in the Complex Systems Lab, under the guidance of Dr. Bagavathi. Her research primarily revolves around Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a particular emphasis on the intricate task of detecting political leanings within the vast landscape of social media networks and news articles. In addition to her academic pursuits, Sadia serves as the Women in Data Science Stillwater Ambassador for the year 2023, exemplifying her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in her field.
