Hello! My name is Jake Williams, I'm a Junior in Computer Science and Mathematics. I won the Outstanding undergraduate CS researcher award for the work I did with Dr. Cecil and Dr. Frederic Merienne at Art et Metiers University in Chalon Sur Saone, France. I coauthored two papers that were published about the work we did regarding Virtual Reality medical simulations. Currently I am President of ACM for the 23-24 school year and look forward to a future career in computer science!

Now that I am an awardee, I hope it will be a tool in the future I can use to get into more internships and propel me forward in my computer science career.
