Bio
Farhan Tanvir is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at OSU and working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Complex Systems Lab. He has completed his Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh.
His broad research interests include applied machine learning and data mining, specifically bioinformatics/computational biomedicine. He is focusing on knowledge discovery from large network data of interaction among biomedical entities. He spearheaded multiple scientific research projects, resulting in 5 conference papers including a paper in KDD.
