Gipson, Luke
Undergraduate Student
Bio
I, Luke Gipson, come from a small town, Borger, Texas, and I started school there as a psychology major. I was interested in a stem degree at the time, but truthfully, I did not think I was “smart enough.” After transferring, I decided that it would be better to try and fail, then to never try and regret it later.
And so, I chose computer science when I transferred to OSU. I took a programming class in high school, and while it was hard, there was something satisfying about it. I found enjoyment in the problem-solving process, the step-by-step process to make a computer do something. Now, I have experienced what I would call initial successes in the computer science field here at OSU, and look forward to what is yet to come.
Achievements
In high school I competed at the state level in Business Professionals of America (BPA).
