Bio
Cara Brun grew up in Stillwater and fondly remembers playing in the library fountain or running around Theta Pond with her four siblings when her father was a professor at OSU. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (2008) and a Master of Science in Mathematics (2016) from OSU. Cara taught mathematics in Oklahoma public schools for several years before returning to OSU. As a master’s student, she instructed several mathematics courses and now works with the Computer Science Department and the Statistics Department as the academic advisor. Her favorite part of the job is working with undergraduate students for several years and watching them meet their goals. Cara is married to Kenneth Latham, is the mom to Brittany, Brandon, and Kyle, and grandma to three wonderful grandsons and one incredible granddaughter. Her favorite pastime includes riding her gravel bike long distances with her husband.
