Dr. Fabio Machado is a faculty member at the Department of Biology who also teaches and conducts research. He is the primary instructor of BIOL 4174- Mammalogy and his research focuses on morphological evolution and adaptation at multiple scales in mammals and other vertebrates. Students enrolled in BIOL 4730- “Research in Zoological Collections” gain hands-on experience in curatorial practices by assisting with specimen preparation, curation, and research.
