State University campus in Stillwater, OK. This biennial exhibition featured artwork
by living Oklahoma artists. The show travels to multiple locations across the state
over an 18-month period, bringing original, Oklahoman-made artwork to viewers in communities
large and small.
"We are excited to share 24 Works on Paper with OSU and the Stillwater community! As a statewide organization, our mission is to promote and connect artists from different regions to new audiences. Several incredible Stillwater artists are featured in this exhibition alongside artists from all over Oklahoma.” — Keri Smith, Programs and Exhibitions Manager, OVAC
The exhibition featured 24 artworks created on paper using diverse media such as printmaking, drawing, painting and photography. The 2022–2024 exhibition was curated by Michael R. Grauer, McCasland Chair of Cowboy Culture/Curator of Cowboy Collections and Western Art at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
24 Works on Paper was on view at the Gardiner Gallery through September 8, 2023. Stillwater artists featured in the show included Studio Art Faculty Molly Kaderka, Studio Art student Nayelly Morales Rojo and Studio Art alumnus Taylor Graham.
