Gemma Schmidt is a senior at Oklahoma State pursuing a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish. Her future goal is to be an attorney, as she plans to attend law school starting Fall of 2022. Gemma is a campus tour guide, active member of the OSU Honors College, and even had the chance to participate as legal intern this past summer in her hometown- Dallas, TX. However, most of her big involvements and achievements have actually come through The College of Arts and Sciences. Gemma holds executive positions in CAS Ambassadors, CAS Student Council, and even as a CAS Senator for the Student Government Association. Gemma has had the honor of being named the CAS Ambassador for the OSU Foundation, as she was featured in the Spring 2021 academic mailer to represent CAS students and the college as a whole.

 

Gemma is the founder and President of the very first Political Science Club on campus (within CAS), and also participates as an undergraduate research assistant for the Department of Political Science. CAS has allowed Gemma to carry out a lot of short-term goals as well as lifelong dreams, and continues to push her towards great things during her time here at OSU.
