Career: Owner of Everyman and Professor
Bryson Baker started as a pre-med student but after taking a theatre class to fulfill his humanities requirement, he ended up graduating with a B.S. in liberal studies. He went on to earn an BFA and a MA in Acting. After his studies, he worked at Oklahoma State University and helped found the Orange Tech team in the University Bookstore.
In 2016, Baker opened his business, Everyman, in downtown Stillwater. Everyman has a focus on barbering, menswear and coffee, which combines all of Baker’s passions. Recently, Baker purchased a new storefront downtown and there are plans to expand the business and include a bar at the new location as well as make it more inclusive.
Along with running his own business, Baker is putting himself through barber school and teaching at OSU in the Theatre department.
