Oklahoma born and raised Bill Scott Sheets is an actor-musician based out of Chicago, where he continues to pursue his passion for live performance both on stage and in concert.
A proud alumnus of Oklahoma State University, Bill graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in music education.
Though classically trained as an operatic baritone, country music has always been
in his blood. He acts in musical theatres across the country, as well as performs
as a singer and guitarist with various bands.
Bill is very honored to accept the College of Arts and Sciences Rising Star Award
and would like to thank his wife, family and dog for their love and support. He especially
expresses his thanks to Greenwood School of Music professor Dr. April Golliver-Mohiuddin
for giving him the skills to succeed as a performer.
Bill's musical theatre credits include performing as Johnny Cash in Million Dollar
Quartet (at Norwegian Cruise Line, Paramount Theatre/Chicago, Wick Theatre, Phoenix
Theatre Company, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Group, and PCPA), Million
Dollar Quartet Christmas (2021, ’22, and '23 National Tours, World Premiere, and Original
Cast Album), and Ring of Fire (at Drury Lane Theatre, Palace Theater, and Capital
Repertory Theatre). His concert credits include Million Dollar Reunion and December
of ’63.
